My Journey

"To unlock your full potential, it implies an attitude of self-respect, daily commitment to truthful introspection and the practice of self-discipline."

My interest in a balanced lifestyle started when I left my homeland Slovakia as a 17 years old to study and work abroad. Stepping into the unknown, I lived in several European countries facing numerous life challenges that gave me practical life lessons about self-accountability, resilience and constant introspection for any progress to be made. I become curious about how to maintain my personal balance and harmony and thrive in life.

It became my hobby to study personal leadership and wellbeing through numerous schools of thoughts such as Mindfulness and Ayurveda and practice healthy habits on a daily basis. (e.g. mindful introspection, humbling ego, emotional regulation)

By committing myself to personal responsibility and development of deep self awareness, I became an active observer of the fruits and clarity that was unfolding in my mind.

In the process of personal studies and practices, I started to notice and understand a therapeutic soothing impact I am creating for others around when leading by example. The realization that I want to be of service directed me to expand my academic background in international relations to postgraduate university studies in Leadership as well as Mindfulness.

During my studies, I became particularly curious about understanding behaviors, relationship dynamics, needs and struggles that professionals experience. This is where my specialization crystallized and I started my 1-1 coaching practice.

There are many things that had important formative effects on my approach and development. For example, I can mention masculine roles of both, my father and my husband. First, I observed my father’s successes as well as struggles during his years of leadership role in an oil & gas company. For instance, as a child, I observed a lot about how both positive and negative communication tendencies impact the whole trajectory of events within a family unit, or what is the role of feminine support when there are financial struggles going on.

Later on, when living abroad with my now husband, I was learning about the role of teamwork within our relationship. In particular, I understood in depth that the overall mental/ physical/ emotional/ professional success of my husband is directly linked to the quality of my support and everyday accountability for my behavior and capability for emotional regulation. I realised how much positive influence I can have for mutual growth to happen.

Along with my personal realizations, I was gaining practical experience when working in a leadership postgraduate programme as well as coaching employees in a health – oriented company. However, the most expansion on a personal level happened when I became a mother and learned lessons about compassion, self- discipline and personal authority. I have committed to employ all I learned towards conscious parenting. I also became a housewife for several years and enjoyed this experience beyond my imagination. It enabled me to become more integrated and deepen my understanding of the dynamics of masculine and feminine balance. Since then, I have felt a sense of responsibility to share my knowledge and expertise on a broader level by pursuing wellbeing advisorship through my own coaching practice. This became an important part of my personal fulfillment and life purpose.
